Streamlining of Long-Term Monitoring for Co-Regulated Developments (AB 2006)

The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) and CTCAC are pleased to announce that the Agencies have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding, pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 50260, that outlines how the Agencies will improve customer service and reduce the administrative burden on stakeholders.

Developed through a multi-agency collaboration between CalHFA, HCD, and CTCAC, the California Housing Management System (CAHMS) is a centralized, secure platform designed to simplify document submissions for housing developers across California and represents a major step forward in improving transparency, efficiency, and coordination in the state's affordable housing compliance monitoring.

CAHMS Document Submission Portal

This platform is intended for owners and sponsors of affordable housing developments subject to AB2006 compliance requirements with more than one agency involved.

To submit forms and documentation, please visit the CAHMS Document Submission Portal.

Processes Accepted Through CAHMS for CTCAC:

CAHMS is designed to facilitate submissions for the following requests that involve more than one state agency.

Important Note: For requests involving only one agency (CalHFA, HCD, or CTCAC), please continue to follow the existing submission protocols specific to that agency. CAHMS is intended exclusively for multi-agency coordination.

For more information on the processes, please see our Notice to Sponsors.
